Your guide to ROSACEA

Understanding Rosacea

Rosacea is a neuro-vauscular condition involving both the nervous and circulatory systems. It is highly sensitive to both physical and mental trauma, which can exacerbate symptoms. Identifying triggers can help manage flare-ups effectively.

Rosacea care requires a holistic approach, addressing circulation, lymphatic health, barrier function, gut health, emotions, and immunity. A customised treatment plan based on individual needs is essential for managing symptoms and supporting skin health.

Getting Started with Relief

We recommend starting all clients with DMK Relax supplements, which help calm the nervous system, reduce cortisol, and improve blood flow to support skin health.

Dosage: 4 tablets daily (2 in the morning and 2 at lunch or early afternoon).

Relax Supplement Benefits

  • Reduces cortisol levels

  • Enhances blood flow

  • Supports nervous system balance

  • Contains passionflower to reduce anxiety

About Demodex Mites & Rosacea

Demodex mites are microscopic organisms living on the skin, especially affecting those with rosacea by triggering pimples and pustules when pH balance is disrupted. Clients with rosacea often exhibit high levels of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is a type of bacteria that infects your stomach. It can damage the tissue in your stomach and the first part of your small intestine, especially common in individuals of Celtic descent or frequent travellers.

Tracking Symptoms

We recommend clients keep a Symptom Diary to help identify patterns in their rosacea flare-ups, noting:

  • Diet

  • Skincare products

  • Stress levels and emotional factors

  • Sleep quality and duration

Visible Capillaries (Telangiectasia)

Poor circulation in rosacea-affected skin can cause visible capillaries and contribute to premature ageing, sensitivity, and a weakened barrier. Strengthening capillaries and boosting circulation are critical to improving skin resilience.

Thickened, Fragile, Reactive Skin

Rosacea skin may thicken due to a lack of natural exfoliation, leading to sensitivity and pH imbalance. Fragility and increased histamine response are also common.

Treatment Focus Areas

- Circulation & Lymphatics: Increases blood flow and nutrient delivery.

- Barrier Repair: Supports hydration and prevents sensitivity.

- Gut Health & Emotions: Rosacea clients benefit from addressing gut health and managing stress.
